Over the coming weeks, the directory will begin to fill up with details of local businesses operating on the island of Meganissi, in the Ionian sea, between the western mainland of Greece and the peninsula of Lefkas.

The site is to be maintained by the residents themselves and will provide the visitor with details of services available along with contact details enabling arrangements to be made before you visit.

The photo above is a view from the Northwest of the island. On the hill to the left is the village of Spartahori, which overlooks Spilia bay, one of the two main ports of the island. The ferry from Lefkas stops here and at Vathy, the other port.

In the distance you can see one of the mountains on Lefkas island and in front of these the small island of Skorpios, owned by the Onassis family.
